Somethin’ Screwy is a vibrant adult furry comic that blends slapstick humor with a hint of sensual adventure. It centers on Fred Perry, a fox‑like hero with a quick wit, who finds himself accused of framing Roger Rabbit in a series of misadventures. The panels burst with expressive art, bold color choices, and a cast of charming anthropomorphic characters that keep readers laughing while exploring mild erotic themes.
Why This Comic Stands Out
Unlike many furry titles that lean heavily into either pure erotica or pure comedy, Somethin’ Screwy strikes a daring balance. Its narrative cleverly intertwines investigative intrigue—Fred must clear his name— with light‑hearted banter that pokes fun at classic cartoon tropes. The artwork is polished yet playful, using exaggerated facial expressions to emphasize comedic beats while still delivering the sensual detail fans expect. This blend makes the comic feel fresh and engaging.
Audience Reception and Community Discussion
Readers on the furry community forums rave about Fred’s clever schemes and the comic’s witty pacing. Many comment that the art style is reminiscent of classic Saturday morning cartoons but with a modern, bold twist. Discussions often revolve around the moral ambiguity of the characters—Fred’s accidental heroism versus the rabbit’s perceived villainy—. The comic’s blend of humor and mild erotica has sparked lively debates about genre boundaries.
